Selling Sunset’s Mary Bonnet Is ‘Reliving My Past’ in New Memoir
Selling Sunset season seven ended in an explosive way that saw Mary Bonnet, one of the agents at the luxury real estate firm, walk away from her managerial duties after being fed up with dealing with office politics. Bonnet has decided to write a memoir, both about her experiences on the show as well as her own personal life challenges.
Mary’s Personal Life
Mary candidly reveals the most challenging and darkest moments in her life. At the tender age of 16, Mary became a teen mom. Mary was left on her own with very little choice but to get on with things the best way possible. However, through sheer determination, she carved out a brighter future for herself and her family.
She took on multiple jobs while attending school and looking after her son. In her book, Mary will open up about the ways growing up not only changed her but helped her to become better prepared for the trials to come. She lived through not one, but two devastating divorces, and managed to keep going, eventually finding a place on Selling Sunset.
Contemplations on the Show
Fans of Selling Sunset will have something to look forward to as well. Bonnet plans to share some reflections about the show, the cast dynamics, and some behind-the-scenes moments and lessons that she’s learned. She’s also shared her hesitations about returning to the show for an eighth season.
Mary describes that working on the memoir Selling Sunshine, which is a play on the name of the TV series, did come with a few hardships. She hopes her readers will take something out of the book that will help them deal with similar issues in their lives. Her book will be released on September 24th of this year and we can’t wait to see how her story unfolds.
